ēCO Credit Union is proud to join with credit unions around the world to celebrate International Credit Union Day each year. International Credit Union Day's purpose is to raise awareness about what it means for members around the world to have a credit union as their financial partner. This year, International Credit Union Day is October 19.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of International Credit Union Day®. ICU Day highlights the many ways that credit unions across the world help members work towards achieving their financial goals. Credit unions were built on the principle of “people helping people.” We’ve seen that philosophy in action for more than 100 years, with credit unions providing access to affordable financial products and striving to meet the needs of underserved communities. It is at the heart of the mission and structure of credit unions. The essence of this commitment is reflected in each institution's bylaws and it's something credit unions have been doing for more than a century.
To celebrate and highlight International Credit Union Day, ēCO is hosting a coloring contest. We will select $100 winners in the following categories:
- Ages 0-5
- Ages 6-11
- Ages 12-17
Download a coloring sheet, or pick one up at any ēCO Credit Union branch. Color your masterpiece and return it to any ēCO branch to be entered to win. Coloring sheets must be returned by October 31st to be eligible.
